چکیده
A bstract We initiate the analytical functional bootstrap study of conformal field theories with large N limits. In this first paper we particularly focus on 1D O ( ) vector bootstrap. obtain a remarkably simple equation from crossing equations in limit. The numerical bound is saturated by generalized free theories, while its extremal actions do not converge to any non-vanishing functionals equation, for which total positivity SL(2, ℝ) block plays critical role. prove totally positive limits ∆ or small 1 − z and show that violated below value $$ {\Delta }_{\textrm{TP}}^{\ast } ∆ TP ∗ ≈ 0 . 32315626. forms surprisingly sophisticated mathematical structure, instance can violate at order 10 5654 normal = 1627! construct series { α M satisfy conditions up range ⩽ Λ have trivial However, due positivity, they approach limit way consistent arbitrarily high Moreover, region , are results, therefore it clarifies structure analytically. Our result provides concrete example illustrate how properties lead nontrivial bounds. expect work paves higher dimensions.

متن کاملInterior Tomography Using 1D Generalized Total Variation. Part I: Mathematical Foundation
Motivated by the interior tomography problem, we propose a method for exact reconstruction of a region of interest of a function from its local Radon transform in any number of dimensions. Our aim is to verify the feasibility of a one-dimensional reconstruction procedure that can provide the foundation for an efficient algorithm. For a broad class of functions, including piecewise polynomials a...
متن کاملTotal Positivity in Loop Groups I: Whirls and Curls
This is the first of a series of papers where we develop a theory of total positivity for loop groups. In this paper, we completely describe the totally nonnegative part of the polynomial loop group GLn(R[t, t ]), and for the formal loop group GLn(R((t))) we describe the totally nonnegative points which are not totally positive. Furthermore, we make the connection with networks on the cylinder....

متن کاملTotal Positivity and Convexity Preservation
It is well established that systems of totally positive blending functions, such as the Bernstein and B-spline bases, preserve monotonicity and convexity and are generally ‘shape preserving’ [9 ]. In this paper we show that total positivity is equivalent to the preservation of all orders of convexity. By a system we understand a sequence of functions (u0, . . . , un) defined on an interval [a, ...
